Job Description

We are working with a client in Arlington, VA. This role is 5 days in office.

The Accounting Assistant will handle payment collection and posting, manage petty cash, and assist patients with billing inquiries while providing excellent customer service. This role also supports the accounts payable team with invoice processing, vendor inquiries, research, and issue resolution. Additional responsibilities include assisting with special projects, data analysis, billing, collections, and reconciliations.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.

Experience:

• At least one year of general office experience preferred.
• One year of customer service experience preferred.

Certification/Licensure:

• None required.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Independent thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Skilled at multitasking and performing under pressure with accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel; familiarity with Microsoft Word is a plus.
