Job Description

Why This Opportunity?

Join an organization that is passionate about empowering people to achieve financial security. Our mission is to provide highly competitive products, exceptional service, and trusted advice, making us the #1 choice for military families and communities.

If you are seeking a fulfilling career where honesty, integrity, loyalty, and service are at the core of everything we do, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact. You will be part of a team that truly cares about people and their success.

The Opportunity

Looking to start a new career? The Associate Auto Claims Representative role offers the perfect opportunity for growth. If you're ready to learn, we're ready to invest in you! This position comes with a comprehensive, fully paid four-month training program that covers everything you need to succeed. From training materials, licensing, hands-on experiences, to instructor-led sessions - we've got you covered. Training classes are available every month.

Once you're ready, we offer a supportive, in-office environment that encourages a proactive approach to assisting members. After six months in-office, you'll have the flexibility to work remotely two days a week. Veterans and military spouses are highly encouraged to apply. Work schedules may vary and include weekends, but relocation assistance is not provided.

We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our Phoenix office (1 Norterra Drive, Phoenix, AZ 85085) as a Customer Service Auto Claims Representative. You'll work on non-injury auto claims under supervision, investigating, evaluating, and adjusting low-complexity claims. You'll handle the full claims process, ensuring compliance with state laws and regulations. Your impact will be felt as you deliver top-notch customer service, offering clear advice, setting expectations, and finding solutions for members.

What You'll Do:

Learn and apply basic knowledge of auto coverage, physical damage, and liability to evaluate and settle high-volume, low-complexity claims (such as comprehensive, collision, glass, roadside assistance, and rental vehicle coverages).
Resolve claims proactively within your authority, problem-solving and prioritizing tasks while overcoming obstacles.
Document the thought process behind your decisions, including damage evaluation, investigation, negotiation, and settlement.
Collaborate with both internal and external business partners to ensure efficient claims resolution.
Support members, business partners, and claimants through various communication channels, using digital tools to drive effective and timely resolutions.
Gain foundational knowledge of Property and Claims (P&C) insurance products, policies, and internal procedures.
Assist with workload surges and respond to catastrophe (CAT) events, which may include work on evenings, weekends, or holidays.
Travel for CAT deployments with minimal notice during designated events.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with business activities, following compliance and risk policies.
What You Bring:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
A strong ability to deliver exceptional customer service through clear and professional communication across multiple channels.
The ability to multitask, prioritize, and navigate various business applications efficiently.
A commitment to acquiring an insurance adjuster license and applicable state registrations within 90 days of hire.
Successful completion of a job-related assessment.
What Sets You Apart:

Military experience or being a military spouse/domestic partner.
A Bachelor's degree is a plus.
Compensation Range:

The hiring range for this position is $47,820 - $49,820, with compensation based on your experience and market data. The salary for this role may vary based on location.

Employees may be eligible for performance-based pay incentives.

Benefits:

We offer a comprehensive benefits package to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being. Benefits include:

Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans
401(k) and pension options
Life insurance and parental benefits
Paid time off (including holidays and 16 volunteer hours)
