Job Description

The '401 Table & Tap is looking to hire a Barista. We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic and commitment to customer service to join us in our high-energy, family-friendly, community-oriented restaurant.

• Preparing quality beverages, generally specialty hot drinks, and operating espresso machine.
• Preparing hot soup, desserts, and fresh-squeezed juices.
• Cleaning, drying, and stocking of delicate glassware.
• Stocking and cleaning barista work station.

Requirements:

• Food Handlers Certification.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff.
• Bilingual preferred - strong communication skills.
• Time management skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures.
• Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry preferred.
• Willingness to work with others.
• Performs high-quality work while unsupervised.
• Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time and lift at least 20 pounds.
• Willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed.
