Batesville is a customer-focused delivery service based in Corpus Christi, TX. We specialize in providing reliable, timely delivery services to customers. We are currently seeking an experienced, dependable, and safety-conscious Lead Delivery Driver with at least 3 years of driving experience.

Job Description:

As a Lead Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to our customers and ensuring excellent customer service. You will be entrusted with operating a box truck, managing deliveries, and helping to ensure that the day's routes are completed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive a box truck to transport products to customers.
• Lead a team of delivery drivers to ensure timely and safe deliveries.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed in a professional and safe manner, while adhering to traffic laws.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain the cleanliness of the truck.
• Communicate with the dispatch team regarding delays or issues during deliveries.
• Provide excellent customer service at each delivery location.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries and returns.
• Maintain and organize delivery schedules to optimize efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience driving box trucks.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed.
• Familiarity with routes in the Corpus Christi area is a plus.
• Ability to handle challenges on the road and in the field, including weather or traffic-related delays.
