What You'll Do:

• Screen, code and key claims to ensure proper and accurate adjudication with departmental standards for quality and production, contract regulations, policies and guidelines.
• Correct keying errors as noted by system edits.
• Assist entry-level claims clerks on correct coding and keying procedures.

To Qualify for This Position, You'll Need

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in a claims operations environment to include data entry experience.
• Strong keyboarding skills. Detail-oriented. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of medical and/or dental coding.

We Prefer You to Have:

• Intermediate in word processing, spreadsheet applications, and database software.
