This position is located in the lab of Dr. Ozioma Okonkwo, within the Wisconsin Alzheimer's Disease Research Center at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health.
Dr. Okonkwo co-leads the Inclusion Core of the new CLARITI grant, which is focused on conducting a standardized, longitudinal imaging and plasma protocol on 2,000 participants across NIA-funded Alzheimer's Disease Research Centers, who will be deeply profiled with amyloid, tau, vascular ischemic, and neurodegeneration signatures of Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders. The successful candidate in this position will have managerial oversight of the Inclusion Core and its UW-Madison team members. They will oversee timelines and milestones to ensure that targeted deadlines are met. Primary areas of responsibility include working closely with the other team members and the community partners to ensure enrollment and engagement goals are met for all components of the study, facilitating the development and deployment of educational and training materials for all team members, keeping regulatory and budgetary documents compliant, preparing progress reports, implementing quality assurance standards, liaising with other components of the CLARITI grant, and actively participating in the hiring and supervising of team members.Diversity is a source of strength, creativity, and innovation for UW-Madison. The starting salary for the position is $65,500 but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
