Job Description

One of our clients is seeking a Clinical Informatics Analyst to support the implementation, configuration, and support of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system . This role will involve technical system analysis, development, configuration, and documentation to ensure compliance with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) standards .

This position requires hands-on experience with a recognized Electronic Health Record system and strong technical, analytical, and documentation skills .

This is a fully on-site role requiring 4 days per week . In-person interviews are required for all selected candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and implement the EHR system to align with CTSU ALM guidelines .
  • Support EHR workflows, system integration, and technical configuration to meet healthcare operations needs .
  • Assist in software design document creation , including workflow diagrams, system architecture, and health data standards compliance .
  • Analyze, document, and optimize EHR system workflows to ensure efficient data processing, compliance, and reporting .
  • Work with cross-functional teams including healthcare providers, IT staff, and system administrators to ensure seamless integration and functionality .
  • Provide training and technical support in clinical settings, ensuring that users understand system functionality and configuration .
  • Follow agile development methodologies to support continuous improvements and updates to the system.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in EHR system design, development, configuration, implementation, and support .
  • 5+ years of experience assisting in software design documentation, workflow diagrams, and system architecture mapping .
  • 5+ years of experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) methodologies , including system analysis, design, development, and configuration.
  • 5+ years of experience with technical documentation for healthcare workflows , ensuring compliance with industry health standards.

Highly Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience working in healthcare settings or business administration related to healthcare technology .
  • Hands-on system configuration experience , particularly in EHR, EMR, or clinical informatics systems .
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies for continuous system updates and enhancements .
