**Overview** Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center is a 370-bed not-for-profit Level 2 Trauma Center located in Carmichael California serving the areas of north Sacramento County and south Placer County for more than 50 years. Mercy San Juan Medical Center has received recognition for being a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Center of Excellence for Bariatric Surgery along with Certificates of Excellence in Perinatal Care Hip- and Knee- Replacement. **Responsibilities** **$5,000 Sign-On Bonus offered for qualified new hires. Per policy, current employees are not eligible** This position requires at least 2 years experience in a health care setting. Candidates must have a current California L.C.S.W. license current California driver's license possession of automobile insurance access to an operating motor vehicle and a current CPR certification from the American Heart Association. The incumbent provides direct social work services and counseling to patients and their families and functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team. Education: Master's Degree from a School of Social work accredited by the Council of Social Work Education. Licensure: Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California. Special Skills: Excellent customer service and presentation skills are a must. Strong interpersonal and written communication skills are essential. Demonstrated ability to apply analytical and problem solving skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks or projects effectively Ability to work independently as needed with a high degree of detail orientation.
