Job Description

**Overview** **Construction Project Manager** ABM Industries is seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects across our diverse portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional project management abilities, and a deep understanding of construction processes and methodologies. **Responsibilities:** - Project Planning and Execution: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. - Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, fostering positive relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. - Resource Management: Effectively allocate resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize project efficiency and minimize costs. - Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with construction projects and develop proactive strategies to mitigate these risks, ensuring the successful delivery of projects. - Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control measures to uphold the highest standards of workmanship and craftsmanship, conducting regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations. - Budget and Cost Management: Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and expenditures closely to ensure projects are delivered within budgetary constraints. - Safety Compliance: Prioritize and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, promoting a culture of safety consciousness among all project stakeholders. - Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, schedules, and reports, providing timely updates and progress reports to clients and senior management as required. - Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within the construction department, implementing best practices and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred). - Proven experience in construction project management, with a minimum of [5] years of experience in a similar role. - Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials, with a focus on commercial and industrial projects. - Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate multidisciplinary teams. - Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Procore, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite. - Sound understanding of construction contracts, regulations, and legal requirements. - Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make decisions under pressure. - Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) and/or construction-related certifications (e.g., LEED AP, CCM) is a plus. **Why Join ABM Industries:** - Opportunity to work with a market leader in integrated facility solutions, servicing a diverse range of clients across industries. - Competitive compensation and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities. - A collaborative and inclusive work environment that values diversity and innovation. - Opportunities for career advancement and growth within a dynamic and expanding organization. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
