CTG is seeking to fill a Collibra Data Governance SME opening for our client in Chicago, IL.
Location: Chicago, IL (On-site 3 days/week)
Duration: 4 months
Duties:
Lead the design, deployment, and configuration of Collibra Data Governance Center in alignment with the enterprise data governance strategy.
Customize Collibra workflows, operating models, and integrations to meet business requirements.
Define and manage Collibra metadata models, taxonomies, and business glossaries.
Develop and enforce organization-wide data governance policies, standards, and best practices.
Drive programs around data lineage, metadata management, and data stewardship.
Implement and monitor data quality rules and ensure continuous improvement of data assets.
Integrate Collibra with various data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure), ETL tools, BI tools (e.g., Tableau), and data catalogs.
Leverage Collibra APIs and scripting (Groovy, Python, Java) to automate metadata ingestion and workflows.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure seamless integration within the data management ecosystem.
Ensure data governance initiatives comply with relevant regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, BCBS 239).
Conduct governance assessments and audits to measure compliance and effectiveness.
Skills:
Advanced configuration and customization of Collibra Data Governance Center.
Expertise in data governance frameworks such as DAMA DMBOK or DCAM.
Proficient in using Collibra APIs and scripting for automation (Groovy, Python, SQL).
Strong understanding of metadata management, data lineage, and data quality frameworks.
Experience with data integration platforms and BI tools.
Excellent collaboration skills for working across business and IT teams.
Experience:
5+ years in data governance, metadata management, or enterprise data management roles.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Collibra (implementation, workflow design, metadata modeling).
Proven track record of integrating Collibra with enterprise data platforms and tools.
Experience with regulatory compliance and audit readiness efforts using Collibra.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $75.00/hour to $80.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
