Job Description
Job Title: Dental Assistant – Part-Time Schedule – Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM - Start time 7:30 AM
Location: Washington, DC
Anticipated Start Date: 01/06/2025
Responsibilities of the Dental Assistant role include:
Preparing patients for dental work.
Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
Assisting dental hygienists with procedures and other tasks when necessary.
Exposing dental x-rays from dental diagnostics and caring for dental x-ray equipment.
Job Requirements
Successful candidates for the Dental Assistant:
At least 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant Preferred
Training and or education as a Dental Assistant
