Description The Digital Creative Director will be responsible for leading all digital deliverables across motion graphics, presentation design, films, and interactive experiences. In addition, this role will take charge of specific projects involving spatial design and visual identity design. As a key player in our creative team, this individual will work closely with C-level executives and lead new business pitches while ensuring high-quality, innovative solutions are delivered on time.
Your mission is to influence and execute the visual ambition of Imagination's projects, with creative excellence - imagining and delivering extraordinary experiences that have a world-class visual aesthetic.
You will lead a team of in-house print and digital designers and engage with freelance designers, art directors, animators, directors and artists, working with agility and consistency across all of our client portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute digital creative deliverables, including motion graphics, presentations, films, and interactive experiences.
- Oversee and guide the design of spatial and visual identity elements for key projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, producers, and executives, to ensure a cohesive creative vision is achieved.
- Lead new business pitches, working directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver compelling creative concepts.
- Manage, mentor, and inspire a small creative team to ensure consistent output and high-quality work.
- Work closely with C-level executives, offering strategic guidance and maintaining client relationships.
- Maintain a hands-on approach to design and execution, ensuring all deliverables meet the highest standards.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 8+ years of relevant experience in digital creative direction, with a strong portfolio showcasing a broad range of work, including motion graphics, films, interactive experiences, and spatial design.
- Proven experience managing a team and working directly with C-level executives.
- Extensive hands-on design experience.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills with the ability to inspire creativity and innovation.
- Experience in leading new business pitches and developing creative concepts for clients.
- A deep understanding of experiential marketing and the production of product reveals, brand activations, investor meetings, trade show exhibits, immersive experiences, product launch films, media briefings, and drive experiences.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, capable of overseeing multiple projects at once.
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere) and C4D
- Skilled in quickly bringing ideas to life through AI-powered image generation tools.
- A team player with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
