Job Description

Position Summary
At MedReview, our mission is to bring accuracy, accountability, and clinical excellence to healthcare. As such, we are a leading authority in payment integrity solutions including DRG Validation, Cost Outlier and Readmission reviews. A Fulltime Document Scanning Clerk Position is open at our location in downtown Manhattan.

Responsibilities:

 
  • Prepare paper documents to be scanned removing staples, binder clips rubber bands, unfold bent pages. Make scan ready.
  • Process electronic documents received on CD’s, thru client emails or downloaded from an internet portal.
  • Ensure proper image quality, that there are no missing documents.
  • Resolve any quality problems as required.
  • Must be able to lift 20-40 pounds.
Qualifications:

 
  • Must be able to recognize and question work tasks that may require management’s attention.
  • Must be high organized and detail oriented.
  • Must be a team player and work with others to reach common goals.
  • Must also be able to work independently without supervision.
  • Must have basic Microsoft Windows skills.
  • Must have strong technical aptitude.
  • Experience with high-speed production scanners is a plus.
  • Experience in a high-volume production environment.
