• Own the monthly close process and preparation of financial statements
• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting liquidity, cash balances, and inventory requirements
• Maintain daily contribution margin sheet to track profitability metrics
• Build and manage comprehensive KPI dashboards tracking key financial metrics (total revenue, contribution margin, COGS, etc.)
• Maintain rolling 52-week cash flow projections
• Process payroll and manage employee benefits administration
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable operations
• Manage all tax compliance and reporting requirements
• Implement and optimize financial systems and controls
• Partner with the executive team on strategic planning and budgeting
• Oversee banking relationships and cash management
• Develop and document financial policies and procedures
• Coordinate with external CPA and tax preparation vendors

• CPA certification required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred)
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a controller role
• Experience in eCommerce or D2C business models strongly preferred
• Strong proficiency in Quickbooks Online
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities
• Experience with inventory management and multi-channel sales accounting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellence in remote team management
• Ability to work independently while staying highly organized and results-oriented
