Brief Description
Nextant is looking for a driven Graphic Designer to join our client team. The main function of a Graphic Designer is to create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on design principles and concepts. A typical graphic designer needs to have a high level of creativity and be able to communicate their ideas to both internal and external clients. The ability to be flexible to client demands, work well under pressure and multi-task are required skills.

Responsibilities:
Plan, analyze, and create visual solutions to communication problems.
Develop overall layout and production design of publications or web interfaces as they relate to graphic design.
Prepare sketches or layouts to present to the client.
Create charts and graphs from the data given.
Requirements:
Associate's degree in design and/or certificate in graphic design required. Bachelor's degree in design or related field preferred.
4-10 years of experience required.
4+ years of experience in Adobe and Figma.
Experience designing for the web (Adobe Experience Manager), social media (paid and organic), media (display, social, and beyond), and general digital materials for things like digital pamphlets, PowerPoint, and more.
Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, and problem-solving ability.
Basic ability to utilize various forms of media, including print, electronic, and film.
Animation experience is a plus.
Experience with Adobe publishing and graphics software.
Basic ability to visualize in 2D and 3D and understand aesthetic aspects of design.
Previous experience using the computer to create layouts and generate new images.

Pay Rate:
The annual salary range for this position is $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 in Washington State. Please note that the salary range is a general guideline. Nextant considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills, and other market and business considerations when extending an offer.
