HR Manager

Plumbing & HVAC Company in Monterey Park

Hours: 40 hours per week (50-75% of the time in office)

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of HR, including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement, retention, and development
  • Provide support and guidance to management and employees on HR-related matters
  • Administer performance management and talent development programs
  • Maintain accurate HR records and reports
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve company goals

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a small to medium-sized company
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations (e.g. Title VII, FLSA, CA employment laws)
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in sensitive situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in HR software and systems (e.g. Paychex, ADP)
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
