HVAC Controls Technician needed for a well-established mechanical contractor in central Indiana!
Do you have 5+ years of experience as a HVAC Controls Technician and a passion for fieldwork. If so, we want to hear from you! A well-established company is seeking an experienced Controls Technician to join their team and contribute to delivering exceptional results.
RESPONSIBILITES
* Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair building automation and control systems in the field.
* Program and configure control systems, including HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems.
* Perform field commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure proper functionality.
* Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to ensure accurate system installations.
* Work closely with clients, contractors, and team members to complete projects effectively and efficiently.
* Maintain accurate documentation of service calls, programming changes, and system upgrades.
* Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to clients.
* Adhere to all safety standards and company policies while on job sites.
QUALIFICATIONS
* 5+ years of experience as a Controls Technician in field positions.
* Strong understanding of building automation and control systems, including programming and troubleshooting.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and team members.
* Experience in non-union environments is preferred.
