Job Title: Experienced Home Health Care ICD-10 Coder

Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced ICD-10 Coder to join our home health care team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical coding within a home health setting, ensuring compliance with all applicable guidelines and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately assign ICD-10 codes to diagnoses and procedures for home health care services.
Review and analyze clinical documentation to ensure coding accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate with clinical staff to clarify documentation and coding discrepancies.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines, regulations, and industry best practices
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance coding accuracy and efficiency
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field preferred.
Current coding certification (e.g., CPC, CCS, HCS-D) from a recognized accrediting body.
Minimum of 2 years of ICD-10 coding experience in a home health care setting.
Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and coding software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
