We're seeking two dedicated IHT Clinicians (full or part-time) to join our expanding team in the Worcester area.
About the Role
We're a family-focused organization that truly believes in putting people first. We strive to take excellent care of our providers so they can, in turn, provide the best care for our clients. As an IHT Clinician, you'll lead the IHT team in creating treatment plans, providing family therapy in the home, conducting safety planning, and coordinating other vital services. You'll work closely with a Therapeutic Training and Support worker to implement strategies that empower youth to understand and manage their emotions, interact effectively with family members, and connect with essential resources and supports.
What You'll Do
Provide family therapy in a home-based (outreach) setting.
Conduct comprehensive, home-based assessments, including the CANS, focusing on the youth and family's needs, strengths, culture, current functioning, and history.
Develop treatment plan goals in collaboration with the family and team members.
Partner with the IHT Therapeutic Training and Support worker to implement treatment plan strategies.
Provide safety planning, crisis management, intervention, and support as needed.
Offer support to youth and families in community settings like schools, hospitals, and clinics.
Maintain consistent communication with all team members.
Provide after-hours on-call support on a rotating basis.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
Master's degree in a human services field (allowing for diagnosis).
License eligibility or independent licensure.
MA CANS certification (required before start date).
Ability to communicate clearly, respectfully, and effectively in writing and verbally.
Ability to engage youth and families in therapy, assess and diagnose using DSM-5 criteria, and educate families and team members on diagnoses and clinical needs.
A commitment to working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, exploring family culture, and leading discussions about cultural differences.
Proficiency with Google Workspace.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable transportation.
Approved CORI check.
