Watershed Security is a Veteran Owned Small Business with over 20 years Cybersecurity and Government Contracting experience. Watershed is looking for a Linux Administrator with demonstrated experience performing Linux maintenance and administrative tasks on a complex enterprise-scale network. Work will be onsite in Pensacola Florida and will require periodic travel

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Must possess active DoD Secret clearance or higher
• Most possess current IAT II-compliant security certification in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M
• Must have or be able to get within 6 months of hire, an appropriate Computing Environment or vendor certification for associated communications equipment being supported in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M
• Must have 5 years or more experience supporting Linux servers in an enterprise environment, with recent experience in the past 3 years
• Work will occur at government facilities in Pensacola, FL and at Navy facilities in the Norfolk area.  Travel will be required to CONUS and OCONUS locations

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to diagnose and repair Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.0 and newer operating systems
• Able to perform day-to-day monitoring and maintenance for Linux Systems including authoritative and recursive DNS, firewalls, and databases
• Ability to review and update STIG requirements and checklists and remediate/document findings as needed
• Responsible to diagnose and repair remote Linux systems running in a VMWare environment
• Troubleshoot and maintain numerous applications running on Linux systems including DNS, NTP, and Postfix

PAY RANGE

Final salary is influenced by factors such as location, contract labor categories, experience, skills, education, and certifications. Watershed offers competitive compensation, medical and dental benefits, educational reimbursement, 401K plan with matching, 15 days of PTO to start and 11 paid holidays per year.   The proposed salary range for this position is: $80K - $112K USD
