Live-on Butler in Washington, DC A long-term Washington, DC client is seeking a live-on Butler to join their established team. Some travel to a Delaware residence is required. Private apartment over the garage with a separate entrance is provided. Responsibilities: Work alongside the household team and perform general cleaning tasks and daily graces Drive the principal to events and appointments Facilitate gracious entertaining. Serve the principal and their guests Light cooking when the Chef is off (set up breakfast of quiche, fruit platter, etc.) Assist with household laundry Communicate effectively with the team Qualifications: Five plus years of private service experience in a similar role with excellent, verifiable references Live-on experience (this includes yacht or cruise ship crew) An elegant sense of style Demonstrates strong professional boundaries A team player who is willing to pitch in and has an easy relationship with colleagues Good judgement and common sense A self-starter: someone who enjoys ensuring the residence is pristine Flexible on schedule. Weekends will require an early start Adaptable and willing to pivot with the principal and team Able to stand for long periods at events and able to lift 40-50 pounds Schedule: Generally, Wednesday to Sunday. Daily work hours are staggered with other team members to provide coverage. Compensation: Our client is prepared to pay up to $115,000 to $125,000 commensurate with experience.
