We are seeking a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgery Physician with fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma for a locum tenens opportunity in California. The position requires 24-hour call coverage for general and traumatic orthopedic cases, with a preferred focus on hand surgery.
Position Details:
Start Date: May 22 – May 31
Shift Type: 24-Hour Call Coverage (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
Call Schedule: Daily 24-hour shifts for the full duration of assignment
Patient Volume: 20–30 patients on service per day
Case Types:
General orthopedic cases (upper and lower extremities)
Traumatic orthopedic injuries
Preferred: Experience/training in hand surgery
Requirements:
Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
Fellowship Trained in Orthopedic Trauma – REQUIRED
Active California Medical License
DEA License
