We're seeking a passionate Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team in Los Angeles, Ventura County, Santa Barbara, or San Luis Obispo, CA. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely while building meaningful client relationships and achieving exceptional earning potential.
What You'll Be Doing:
Connect with Clients: Prospect for residential mortgage solutions and convert inbound/outbound leads.
Find the Perfect Fit: Identify clients' financial needs and recommend optimal loan programs.
Drive Sales Success: Achieve monthly sales performance goals.
Guide Homebuyers: Solicit, originate, negotiate, and process residential mortgage loans.
Advise and Educate: Counsel and advise loan applicants throughout the process.
Manage Documentation: Collect information and documents from applicants and other parties.
Set Clear Expectations: Communicate interest rates, points, and fees.
Ensure Smooth Closings: Monitor loan application status and coordinate with personnel.
Build Relationships: Distribute information to real estate professionals and answer client questions.
Stay Connected: Attend meetings and presentations.
Maintain Accuracy: Prepare reports and ensure loan file accuracy.
What You'll Bring to the Table:
Mortgage Experience: At least 3 years of experience managing and negotiating loans.
Loan Processing Knowledge: Familiarity with loan processing guidelines (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA).
Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of loan practices, documents, and real estate terms.
Market Awareness: Strong understanding of the mortgage market.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Language Skills: Proficiency in Spanish (preferred).
Location: Must be based in California.
