Job description: Immediate Need for One to One School Nurses (RN - Registered Nurse) or (LPN- Licensed Practical Nurse) in the Louisville KY area. Full and Part time shifts for Days Shifts. Hourly Pay RN: $32-$38 and LPN $28-$32. BrightStar Care Louisville is looking for RN/LPN School Nurse for One to One Care to a student in the school district of Jefferson County Public School (JCPS). The RN/LPN will provide skilled nursing care to a student throughout the school day. The position will require the nurse to provide care for the same student for the entire school day (M-F). Requirements: * Current unrestricted RN or LPN license in Kentucky * Pediatric Experience preferred * Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray * Minimum one (1) year of documented experience * Experience with g-tubes, trachs/vent, seizure monitoring with rescue medications, diabetic care, etc. * Able to ride bus to and from school with patient * Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
