What Operations Management contributes to Cardinal Health 


Operations Management is responsible for oversight and leadership direction within the Operations function at Cardinal Health Packaging Solutions (CHPS). Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm


Responsibilities


•    Directly responsible for primary and secondary packaging of pharmaceutical products across a two-shift operation.
•    Continually strives to enhance and expand the safety, quality, delivery, and cost of our packaging operations. 
•    Collaborates with project and inventory management, quality, maintenance, and engineering groups to execute against a master production schedule that provides on-time and in full deliveries.
•    Works cross functionally with all departments to ensure regulatory, business, and customer requirements are met.
•    Routinely troubleshoots and leads problem solving efforts through the facilitation of team meetings and on-the-floor leadership to effectively change systems, procedures, and processes through continuous improvement. 
•    Applies current Good Manufacturing Principles and Good Documentation Practices in all areas of responsibility and ensures training compliance for all operations employees.
•    Fosters a culture that encourages accountable performance and engagement that aligns with our core values and behaviors. 
•    Supports the new business development process to launch new commercial drug products and the transfer of existing drug products.
•    Provides inspired leadership for the organization.
•    Highly engaged in the development and execution of strategic planning and deployment to achieve Management By Objectives for each fiscal year.
•    Actively works across the enterprise to collaborate, innovate, and integrate best practices.
•    Thoroughly enjoys being a good coach, mentor, and resource to the organization.


Qualifications


•    High school diploma required
•    Bachelor’s degree preferred
•    3-5 years experience preferred 
•    3+ years supervisory/management skills required 
•    Strong communication skills
•    Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
•    Experience working in a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging environment is highly preferred.

Anticipated salary range: $89,165 - $143,145
