Your Specific Responsibilities:
The incumbent of this position is a Health Educator who will work approximately 25 hours a week. Work hours will conincide with school hours (8:30am- 2:30pm) with some hours scheduled on eveninings and weekends for community outreach events such as parades and fairs. Incumbent is actively involved in providing education and activities in the community and in a school setting for middle and high school aged students including promoting positive youth development, facilitating youth leadership skill workshops, attending community partnership meetings, and educating youth on how to avoid risky behaviors.

Qualifications:
Minimum - Valid Florida Driver's License, some experience educating and public speaking
Preferred - 1-2 years of experience educating youth, 1-2 years experience with public speaking to a variety of audiences, Skilled in creation of PowerPoint presentation.
