Job Description

Candidates will be allowed to work a hybrid remote schedule during COVID. The client is moving towards hybrid 2 days per week on-site work. Candidate must relocate, if not local, and be located in Lansing, MI from day one. Once restrictions are lifted and the client’s office opens, candidates will be required to work 100% onsite daily M-F during business hours in Lansing, MI, NO exceptions.

 

Our direct client has an opening for an Oracle PL/SQL Developer. This position is for 12+ months, with the option of extension, and is located in Lansing, MI.

Description:

  • Database programmer with 8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performs a variety of complicated tasks, may lead, and direct the work of others, may report directly to a project lead, project manager, or manager. 
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • This resource needs strong Oracle PL/SQL development work experience writing procedures, packages, and functions.
  • The resource should also have relational database design experience, perform data analysis on enterprise DBMS, ensure data quality through development and testing practices, and participate as a database developer on critical projects as required.
  • Programming in Oracle PL/SQL and Toad., Required 8+ years.
  • Writing Oracle packages, procedures, and functions, Required 8+ years.
  • Designing, creating, and maintenance of Oracle database objects, Required 8+ years.
  • Normalizing database., Required 8+ years.
  • Designing logical and physical database model, Required 8+ years.
  • Data analysis and management, Required 8+ years.
  • Database programming experience in data migration and conversion practices, Required 8+ years.
