Outside Golf Services Manager
Golf Course in Eagle, Colorado is looking for an Outside Golf Services Manager.
Position Overview:
Assists the Head Golf Professional and Lead Assistant in the management of all Outside Golf Services staff and operations. The position is responsible for supervising and managing a staff who provide premier member service from arrival to departure of the property, maintain and clean golf cart fleet and set practice facilities for daily use. All duties of the position shall be performed with a commitment to the highest level of detail and total satisfaction of all members.
Once trained, the Outside Service Manager will be required to perform the following duties with minimal supervision in a fast-paced private club environment:
• Training, supervising, and encouraging all outside service staff to bring the best golf experience to all Members and guests.
• Coordinate with Golf Shop for business levels and prepare for any events or tournaments in advance.
• Coordinate with Caddie Manager for Driving Range setup and staffing levels.
• Acknowledge and respond to all requests made by Members and their guests in a timely manner.
• Lead and assist outside service team to meet and exceed Club operational performances.
• Responsible for cleanliness and organization of all areas of the club including the cart barn, bag room, practice facilities and golf course.
• Promote the game of golf among members and guests
• Develop new ways to improve the operation and increase efficiency.
• Attend weekly golf operations meetings.
Requirements:
High degree of professionalism and commitment to excellence and high service standards.
Detail-oriented and able to prioritize workload, managing multiple tasks simultaneously with limited supervision.
Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work a combination of weekends and weekdays.
Positive and consistent demeanor in all social interactions.
Ability to be a self-starter whereby little supervision is required in order to accomplish tasks.
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced working environment.
Ability to lead and mentor fellow team members within the greater facility goals.
Fundamental knowledge of the game of golf, rules of golf, golf facility operations and tournament operations.
Fundamental supervisory practices and principles.
Act as a role model for all employees by demonstrating the behavior and work ethic expected of all employees.
Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
Service and customer focused attitude.
Experienced in written and oral business communications.
Experienced computer user including; Microsoft Word and Excel. Proficient in other applications, i.e. email, internet, tournament and database.
Maintain and promote a positive professional image within the community.
Compensation:
$23.00 – $26.00 per hour.
