PHLEBOTOMY LAB ASSISTANT

The position of Phlebotomy Lab Assistant is a Pooled Position and applications will be reviewed on an ongoing, as-needed basis.

As a Part-Time Phlebotomy Lab Assistant , you will be under the supervision of the Allied Health Coordinator and you will be tasked with assisting in lab and clinical instruction approximately 8-12 hours a week (subject to change). This role requires a comprehensive understanding of current best practices in phlebotomy standards, care, and protocols. This position requires traveling to clinical sites with students. Moreover, the lab assistant must maintain a high level of safety and exercise oversight to ensure the safety of students. Under rare circumstances, the lab assistant must also be available to assist in didactic instruction.
