Job descripition: The Pharmacy Technician Specialist is an advanced Pharmacy Technician role responsible for providing pharmacy services, including, but not limited to preparing and distributing pharmaceuticals, performing inventory control, conducting regulatory compliance audits and financial transactions, providing customer service through medication access assistance or digital pharmacy care, maintaining pharmacy records and implementation of automated drug cabinet strategies. The Pharmacy Technician Specialist works as part of an interdisciplinary patient care team. The Pharmacy Technician Specialist is designed to utilize advanced knowledge and competency while performing pharmacy functions.

Qualifications:

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

Required qualifications:

  • High school Diploma or GED
  • Active Pharmacy Technician License in the state of employment
  • Four (4) years experience as a pharmacy technician or Equivalent
