The associate contributes directly to program design, public engagement, and community-centered strategies that foster social mobility and equitable development.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Conduct research and analysis on urban equity, economic development, and immigration-related policies • Develop engagement strategies to expand inclusive access to municipal services • Recommend policy improvements and co-design community investment programs • Draft policy briefs, reports, and stakeholder-facing materialsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or related field • 2+ years’ experience in policy research, community development, or strategic planning • Familiarity with equity-focused public initiatives and immigration policy • Excellent written communication skills with ability to synthesize complex dataCORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Research databases and policy modeling tools • Microsoft Teams, Zoom • Content management systems and digital outreach toolsPREFERRED SKILLS • Master’s degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field • Background in civic tech or urban policy innovation • Experience engaging underserved communities and advocacy partnersBy applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from CornerStone and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
