TalentLogistiX is immediately seeking a Powder Coat Technician – 2nd Shift in the Westfield, IN area to join our winning team! We offer steady work , above average wages with weekly pay for those with the skills and knowledge to help our clients achieve their goals.

The Powder coat technician will be responsible for applying powder coatings to metal or other surfaces to provide a durable, protective, and aesthetically pleasing finish.

Pay Rate: $16.40/hr

Location: Westfield, IN 46074

Hours: Monday-Thursday 5pm-3:30am (some OT may be required)

Powder Coat Technician Responsibilities:

• Read, comprehend, and execute tasks based on Process Control Instructions, Bill of Material, Product Description Sheets, and Visual work Instructions.
• Provide accurate reporting of paperwork and labor hours to the supervisor.
• Assist other areas on the production floor, including the assembly line if necessary.
• Load and unload the powder coating line’s monorail conveyor.
• Operate powder coating ovens to cure powder coated assemblies and components.
• Perform daily audit requirements for safety, quality, 5S, and standard work.
• Communicate with the Team Lead regarding production schedule problems or delays.
• Maintains a clean work area.

Powder Coat Technician Qualifications:

• Two years paint/powder coat experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of coating processes including baking at appropriate temperatures and time limitations
• Capability to follow established procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and data; concentrate on routine work details amid periodic interruptions.
