Compensation:

$18/hour

2nd Shift Schedule:

Monday-Thursday

2:00 pm to 12:30 am, hour unpaid lunch, 2 paid breaks

What’s a typical day as a Machine Operator - Powder Coating? You’ll be:

• Operating automated powder coating equipment

• Loading and unloading parts from overhead conveyer

• Observing parts going through the line to ensure proper processes

• Touching up parts in the powder coating booth as necessary

• Maintaining wash/coating system tank concentrations and pH

• Pulling wastewater samples and checking for proper pH levels

• Ensuring proper adhesion and coverage of powder coating on surfaces

• Completing parts as needed to meet production demands

• Reading and interpreting various build specifications and quality requirements

• Inspecting parts for defects and performing quality checks

• Following company policies, plant rules, and safety regulations

• Communicating effectively with coworkers and supervisors

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent

• Possess basic math skills for measuring and mixing coatings accurately

• Are familiar with precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes

• Have experience in finishing or transferrable manufacturing experience

• Can read assembly drawings and follow directions

• Can use hand tools and handle intricate parts

• Have strong attention to detail
