Role: Project Manager (with Scrum Master Experience)

Location : Montreal (Local who can take in-Person)

The opportunity:

Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource planning.

Prepare detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports.

Manage budgets, risks, and project documentation using industry-standard tools.

Collaborate with stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines.

Conduct regular project status reviews with stakeholders and senior management.

Scrum Master Responsibilities: candidate should be able to facilitate all Scrum ceremonies Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

Coach teams on Agile best practices and foster a collaborative, transparent culture.

Remove impediments and blockers to enable team productivity.

Track team velocity, burndown metrics, and ensure consistent sprint delivery.

Work closely with Product Owners to maintain and groom the product backlog.

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What you need:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.

PMP and/or Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I/II) certification.

7+ years of project management experience in IT or digital product development.

3+ years of experience leading Scrum teams.

Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).

Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Asana, etc.).

Experience with managing distributed, remote, or hybrid teams.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in enterprise software delivery, cloud projects, or DevOps environments.

Exposure to scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus).

Experience with resource planning and vendor management.
