Seeking an ED RN within a 60-mile radius, working day shifts from 7a-7p for a 13-week assignment. Requirements include graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, with preference for Critical Care and charge experience. Entry-level candidates without ED experience must have a minimum of one year in acute care nursing. Necessary skills include identifying and responding to life-threatening situations, providing quality patient care, assessing patient needs comprehensively, and ensuring safety for self and others. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential, along with current NYS RN license and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or obtain within 6 months). Additional requirements include successful completion of a lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation and certification in defibrillation, IV, medication, and phlebotomy within six months of employment.
