Job Description

Precise Software Solutions (Precise) is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and driven individual to join our team and make meaningful contributions towards our strategic talent, performance, and growth goals. As an in-house Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for utilizing innovative techniques to develop and maintain a robust, high-quality talent pipeline and position Precise externally as an Employer of Choice. You will work closely with our recruitment team and hiring managers to understand the unique needs of each of our business units and design solutions to help them achieve their talent goals.

This role requires a deep understanding of federal contracting, strategic sourcing expertise, and the ability to enhance external branding efforts to attract top talent. The ideal candidate will have an established pipeline of clearable IT professionals in the government contracting space and experience executing talent acquisition strategies to drive employer brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify and attract high-quality IT professionals for government contracts.
  • Leverage an established network and various sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking events, referrals, etc.) to build talent pipelines for active and future positions.
  • Proactively source and engage passive candidates, fostering long-term relationships within the GovCon IT community.

Talent Acquisition & Hiring Partnership

  • Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and program leads to understand all relevant requirements for each role and project/program.
  • Screen candidates for technical qualifications, government contracting experience, and clearance eligibility.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor intelligence, and government contract requirements to adjust sourcing strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with OFCCP, EEO, and other hiring regulations specific to government contracting.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions in ADP and provide regular reports on sourcing metrics and pipeline health.

Employer Branding & External Engagement

  • Drive external branding efforts to position Precise as an employer of choice in the GovCon IT space.
  • Develop and execute branding initiatives, including social media engagement, content creation, and participation in industry and professional networking events.
  • Partner with marketing and HR teams to enhance recruitment marketing strategies and employer value proposition (EVP).
  • Represent the company at industry events, career fairs, and networking functions to expand visibility and attract top IT talent.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT sourcing or recruiting, specifically within the government contracting space.
  • Proven ability to source and engage both active and passive candidates.
  • Strong understanding of government contract hiring processes, labor categories, and compliance requirements.
  • Extensive knowledge of IT roles, technologies, and certifications (e.g., cloud engineers, cybersecurity analysts, DevOps, software developers, network engineers, etc.).
  • Experience with ADP’s ATS and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ClearanceJobs, Dice, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience in employer branding, talent marketing, or external recruitment campaigns.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Existing relationships with IT professionals in the DoD, DHS, or Intel communities.
  • Experience supporting proposal and contract award sourcing.
  • Knowledge of security clearance processing and suitability determinations.
  • Experience in recruitment marketing, social media outreach, or talent branding initiatives.
  • AIRS, LinkedIn Certified Recruiter, or other sourcing certifications.
