Are you a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist with a passion for working with students? We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team and provide remote occupational therapy services to K-12 students in New Mexico. Key Responsibilities:
Provide remote occupational therapy services, including comprehensive evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring for K-12 students.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's specific needs and educational goals.
Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to seamlessly integrate therapy objectives into the students' daily routines and classroom activities.
Use teletherapy platforms effectively to conduct engaging and productive therapy sessions with students.
Regularly assess students' progress, adjusting therapy plans and strategies as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes, adhering to professional standards and privacy guidelines.
Offer practical guidance and advice to teachers and parents, helping them to support students' functional abilities both in school and at home.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in occupational therapy through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
A Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy (OT).
Valid Occupational Therapist license in New Mexico.
At least two years of experience providing occupational therapy services in K-12 educational settings (virtual experience is a plus).
Strong understanding of K-12 educational systems and therapy best practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and interact with students, parents, and school staff.
Highly organized with strong time management abilities, able to work independently and efficiently.
A reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional home office environment to conduct remote therapy sessions.
