Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Security Account Manager to join our team. This position is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in law enforcement and security management, looking to contribute their skills to a dynamic and growing organization. You will play a key role in overseeing security operations, training and managing staff, and ensuring the safety and security of clients in various settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Supervision: Manage and supervise a team of 10 or more security personnel, ensuring effective training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Provide guidance, conduct counseling, and manage terminations as needed.
Security Operations: Oversee all aspects of physical and electronic security measures, including camera monitoring, patrol techniques, and criminal intrusion protocols.
Policy Development & Training: Develop and implement policies and procedures related to security operations. Lead training for staff on topics such as visitor and vendor entry protocols, interaction with law enforcement, and criminal intrusion response.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by ensuring that security measures meet their needs and exceed expectations.
Field & Office Work: This role involves a combination of office and fieldwork, including hands-on security duties and supervision in physically demanding environments.
Physical Fitness: Lead by example with a high standard of physical fitness, ensuring the security team maintains readiness for challenging scenarios.
Required Qualifications:
Law Enforcement Experience: Prior law enforcement experience with a California POST agency or equivalent, including supervisory-level experience.
Security Account Management: At least 2 years of experience in security account management, including supervision of security personnel.
Licensing & Certification: Must hold a valid CCW or HR 218 status, a California Guard Card, and an Exposed Carry Permit. A valid driver's license is also required.
Physical Fitness: Outstanding to excellent physical fitness to set an example for subordinates.
Administrative Skills: Strong skills in report preparation, policy and procedure writing, and proficiency in computer applications.
Emotional Intelligence & Leadership: High emotional intelligence with strong articulation, critical thinking skills, and a warm, friendly, and outgoing leadership style.
Professional Appearance & Attitude: A mature, positive attitude, with a professional military or law enforcement appearance.
Desirable Qualifications:
Honorable military service.
Experience with visitor welcoming systems.
A high level of interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients, staff, and law enforcement in a professional and approachable manner.
Additional Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Alien Residency.
