Job Title: Snowflake + Talend Developer
Location: Atlanta, GA
Job Summary:
The Snowflake + Talend Developer will be responsible for designing and developing ETL processes using the Talend toolset and supporting Snowflake-related tasks. The role includes planning, testing, and deployment activities, with a strong focus on performance tuning and production support.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with designers and architects to understand the design and plan ETL development using Talend.
2. Assist in completing design deliverables and create the ETL code base using Talend.
3. Perform unit testing, capture results, and occasionally conduct independent testing.
4. Provide testing support for defect triage and resolution during the SIT and UAT phases.
5. Create production deployment plans, scheduling sheets, and obtain approval from relevant stakeholders.
6. Support production deployments and coordinate with production support and infrastructure teams.
7. Provide warranty support by investigating and fixing production ETL issues.
8. Implement performance tuning for ETL processes using Talend.
9. Demonstrate strong knowledge of Snowflake and perform related tasks.
10. Knowledge of MongoDB is a plus.
11. Strong understanding of Unix and SQL.
12. Experience with GitLab and CI/CD processes.
13. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in an onshore-offshore model.
