We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Special Education Math Teacher to join a remote team for the upcoming school year. Key Responsibilities:

Provide personalized math instruction to students with mild to moderate learning needs.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students, ensuring their academic and behavioral goals are met.
Utilize technology and virtual platforms to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure the success of each student.
Maintain communication with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to keep them informed about students' progress.
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (Special Education or Mathematics preferred).
Active New Mexico teaching licensure with a Math Endorsement, or the ability to obtain it.
Successful completion of a technology screening.
Professional Liability Insurance.
Proven experience working with school-aged students with mild to moderate special education needs.
Comfort and familiarity with using technology and virtual platforms for teaching.
