First Light is offering school-aged care for children kindergarten-3rd grade. The program director would organize the program (set a schedule and theme/activities throughout the week) and teach the children. This would be set up as a camp-like setting. Field trips around La Crosse are encouraged to get the kids out in the community, businesses, parks, assisted living facitlies, etc.). The program would be limited to 14 kids for the first year. There would also be 1-2 assistants with you to help with the kids and engage them in activities throughout the week.
The pay range would be $15-$17/ hour for a Lead Teacher and $14-15/hour for an assistant teacher.
For summer staff we do not offer any benefits.
