Job Type: Full-time Monday-Saturday
Salary: $70,000.00 to $150,000.00 /year, depending on experience
Position Summary:
As a Super Dump Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a super dump truck to transport and deliver hot mix asphalt, aggregates, and other materials to construction job sites.
The ideal candidate is punctual, safety-conscious, and experienced with California roadways and construction site protocols.
Hauling freight on a Flat bed - Chain Strap load on Flat Red.
Key Responsibilities:
⁃ Chain equipment
⁃ wide load - Flat Bed.
- Safely operate a Super Dump truck to haul asphalt, aggregates, and other materials to and from job sites
- Load and unload materials according to safety and operational procedures
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and DOT-required documentation
- Communicate with dispatch, superintendents, operational managers and job site crews effectively
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies Ensure materials are delivered on scheduled and in good condition.
- Assist with basic truck maintenance and cleanliness
- Report mechanical issues promptly to maintenance personnel
Requirements:
• Valid Class A/B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Minimum 2 years Asphalt Industry experience.
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience operating Super Dump or similar heavy trucks
• Experience loading & unloading equipment on trailer, Flatbed.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and California-specific hauling requirements
• Ability to work extended hours, including early mornings, evenings, and some weekends
• Familiarity with jobsite safety practices and protocols
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check & Physical
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in varying weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in the asphalt or road construction industry
• Tanker and/or Hazmat endorsement (a plus but not required)
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
