PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

This job is responsible for supervising a Unit that acts as liaison with design and construction by providing required documentation, materials, and resources in support of construction activities and by completing all paperwork and updating all systems to reflect the completion of job packages; ensuring job packages are properly equipped for execution and managing the full range of job processing from initiating through closing and archiving. This position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.

Primary Duties:

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manage all job packaging and completion support functions effectively and efficiently and stays abreast of systems, technologies and initiatives required to do so. (60%)
  • Manages the relationship with internal and external customers. (15%)
  • Acts as liaison with municipalities, and other external agencies to obtain construction requirements, i.e., Miss Utility, permits, electrical and plumbing certificates, etc. (5%)
  • Oversees the billing associated with third party installations. (5%)
  • Oversees Sarbanes Oxley compliance for pending meter installations to ensure completion. (5%)
  • Develops and maintains metrics for performance reviews. (10%)
Job Scope:

JOB SCOPE

Supervises staff in a department. Works within prescribed operating procedures. Typically reports to Manager. Direct reports normally include entry-level exempt, non-exempt skilled and non-skilled craft and clerical.

Minimum Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree relating to the above and 4-7 years of job experience, or in lieu of a degree, 6-9 years combination of formal education/training and experience.
  • Skills/Abilities:
  • Demonstrated ability to: - Communicate effectively both orally and in writing - Anticipate and resolve problems - Handle customer inquiries - Identify problem areas, recommend and implement solutions - Work effectively on teams representing job packaging and completion to improve processes
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and direct the work activities of others.
  • Availability to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
Preferred Qualifications:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

· Experience with CC&B, MDM, Avaya, and AS8
· Ability to revise existing software systems and/or test new software systems that will support the department short term and long-term goals

  • Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $103,200.00/Yr. – $141,900.00/Yr.
