Job Details:

The Field Surveyor – Project Engineer will support engineering and surveying tasks for customer projects. This role involves working alongside engineers, surveyors, and other professionals to ensure projects meet client requirements. Flexibility in work schedule and a background in engineering, surveying, or large-scale equipment processes are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply engineering principles to evaluate and solve project challenges.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret data.
• Collaborate with team members and contractors to meet project goals.
• Assist with proposals and client interactions.
• Review project documents for quality assurance.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in CAD, Microsoft Office, and 3D modeling software.
• Strong math skills (arithmetic, algebra, calculus).
• Ability to read blueprints and check equipment calibration.
• Knowledge of laser trackers, GPS, and laser scanners preferred.

Requirements:

• 2-3+ years’ experience in Heavy Construction or Industrial Metrology.
• Bachelor’s degree or related associate degree preferred.
• Clean driving record, drug screening, and criminal background check required.
