Dobbes Family Winery is seeking an enthusiastic, driven, friendly tasting room host to represent our wines, our winery, and our welcoming culture. The ideal candidate will provide spirited and exceptional customer service for our club members, new visitors, industry peers, and trade partners. They will also educate guests on the unique qualities of our wines, history, philanthropy and culture. A service heart coupled is a must, as is a sense of humor and commitment to teamwork. Our Dundee tasting room is open every day from 11am – 6pm, with occasional evening events. This is a part-time weekend position (commitment to 2 weekends a month). Weekend availability required.

Job Duties:
•  Greet and serve guests hospitably
•  Seat guests and set the stage for their experience, answering questions as needed
•  Answer phones and assist with taking reservations
•  Assist with routing POS transaction
•  Answer tasting room phone to field questions and arrange group tours and tastings
•  Support Tasting Room staff with various duties as assigned
•  Complete routine housekeeping tasks to maintain a neat and orderly work environment
•  Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager

Position requirements
•  Proven abilities in customer service and confident, friendly interaction with the diverse public
•  Professional appearance and demeanor
•  Outstanding verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
•  High energy and ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment
•  Familiarity with the operation of POS systems
•  Strong computer proficiency
•  Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects with little direction
•  Must be able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
•  Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
•  Must be at least 18 years of age
•  Minor OLCC pourers license and food handlers card is required (company can assist with this requirement if needed)

Position Comments
•  Position is hourly; weekend availability and occasional events and holidays (10-15 hours/week)
•  Team environment, PTO provided
•  Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
