In-Office Criminal Defense Attorney
Location: Fairfax, VA
Firm: Right Path Law Group, PLLC
Salary: $100,000+ annually.

Right Path Law Group, PLLC, a thriving and client-centered criminal defense firm located in Fairfax, VA, is seeking a Senior Criminal Defense Attorney to join our team. This opportunity is perfect for a dedicated attorney with a strong background in handling felony and misdemeanor cases and a commitment to exceptional client service in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Consultation: Meet with clients face-to-face, whether in person or at detention centers, to assess their legal needs and develop the best strategy for their case.
• Case Management: Handle a diverse caseload of misdemeanor and felony criminal cases, overseeing each case from initiation through resolution.
• Court Representation: Represent clients at hearings and trials in Northern Virginia state courts, advocating on their behalf.
• Legal Advocacy: Draft, submit, and present court motions, memoranda, and other legal documents before state judges in Northern Virginia.
• Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, clients, and other legal professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.

Qualifications:

• Virginia Bar Admission: Must be admitted to the Virginia State Bar to practice law in Virginia.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of criminal defense experience, including handling felony cases and conducting jury trials.
• State & Federal Experience: Proven ability to handle both state and federal criminal cases (federal experience is a plus).
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to advocate effectively in the courtroom and to clients.
• Trial Experience: Demonstrated success in criminal defense trial experience with a strong track record of favorable outcomes.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $100,000+ annually.
• Performance Bonuses: Eligible for KPI-based bonuses tied to case closures and client satisfaction.
