About the Role: Advertising Agency Director of New Business

We're looking for an experienced and driven Director of New Business to join our team full-time at our Schaumburg, IL office. In this role, you will oversee new business development strategies, cultivate client relationships, and drive revenue growth across a variety of media platforms, including TV, radio, streaming, newspapers, and outdoor advertising.

This is an on-site position and offers an incredible opportunity for high-earning potential for seasoned professionals in the advertising space.

What You'll Do

Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and grow revenue.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
Oversee media buying and planning efforts across TV, radio, OTT, newspapers, and outdoor advertising platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute innovative advertising campaigns.
Take ownership of accounts from onboarding to ongoing management, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.

What You'll Bring

A minimum of 5 years of experience in the advertising industry, specifically in new business development.
A proven track record of driving revenue growth and successfully managing key client accounts.
Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to deliver compelling pitches.
Deep knowledge of media buying and planning across diverse platforms.
The ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while effectively managing multiple priorities.
Note: This position is not remote. We require candidates with extensive experience in advertising agencies and business development. It is not suitable for students or recent graduates.

This role offers a competitive base salary but provides even greater earning potential through new business acquisition and account management. Experienced candidates can realistically earn over $250,000 per year, with no income cap (top performers can achieve $500,000+ per year).
