You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of our operations as the dispatcher. Delivery coordination, service request management, and problem handling will all fall under your purview. Your capacity to maintain order and progress, whether it's through the dispatch of drivers or the handling of last-minute alterations, will be crucial to our achievement.
Things You Must Do:
Distribution: Send out service teams, drivers, and experts to other areas as required.
In order to prevent problems from getting worse, it is important to monitor the progress of shipments, deliveries, and service requests.
Maintain constant communication with drivers, clients, and internal teams to keep everyone on the same page and informed.
Ability to solve problems: In the event that unforeseen problems arise, be prepared to reschedule jobs or reroute drivers as necessary.
Proper documentation is essential for all dispatch-related tasks, including but not limited to: delivery status updates, driver arrival times, and remarks on service completion.
Follow all applicable laws, safety regulations, and business policy while taking any kind of action.
Assist clients and internal teams in resolving issues and ensuring customer satisfaction as part of customer service.
The ability to swiftly and effectively adjust one's plans, routes, or priorities in the face of unexpected and pressing circumstances.
Accompanying Items:
Your background includes a year or more of relevant work experience in transportation, logistics, or dispatching.
Powerful Expression: You have a gift for expressing yourself clearly and concisely in both written and spoken forms.
Ability to Think Quickly and Adapt: You are at your best in dynamic settings where you must respond quickly to new information.
Intelligent and Skilled: You have no trouble using GPS tracking systems and other dispatch software. (Working knowledge of some applications is an asset!)
Paying Close Attention: You are able to juggle numerous duties with ease and never miss a detail.
Adaptability: You're great at handling conflicting demands and changing plans on the fly.
You are a great team player because you aren't afraid to pitch in and help out when others are struggling.
Legally authorized to work in the United States and a resident of the United States are prerequisites for this position.
