Title: Machine Operator

Shift: 1st shift = 7am-3pm/2nd shift = 3pm-11pm/3rd shift =11pm-7am

Pay: $23/hr - $30/hr

About the Company :

Our client is a 100% Employee-Owned (ESOP) manufacturing company. They are an industry leader and have been providing reliable solutions to their customers for over 60 years. They are looking to add experienced and skill machine operators to their team in the Portage County (or surrounding counties) area.

Machine Operator Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate machines such as mills and lathes to machine parts to specifications.
• Meeting production goals while avoiding scrap.
• Ensures quality of production, visually inspects finished products for defects.
• Complete required quality paperwork and enters production data into Shoptrak system.
• Cleans/maintains work area. Ensures work area is clean and stocked at end of shift.
• Trains new associates.
• Performs other work as assigned by the supervisor or as necessary.

About you:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in manual machining and/or CNC machining.
• Ability to set up machine and prepare parts for machining
• Ability to work with tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges and other hand tools
• Ability to read blueprints is preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
