Behavioral Health Nurse Manager - Leadership Opportunity in Mental Health Services

Core Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a specialized behavioral health nursing team in delivering high-quality patient care
• Oversee daily operations, including staff scheduling, productivity management, and quality metrics
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction
• Coordinate comprehensive staff education and competency programs
• Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives in behavioral health services
• Serve as clinical expert in mental health nursing and behavioral interventions
• Partner with Program Director and Director of Nursing to advance department goals
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies

Qualifications & Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license required
• BSN or MSN strongly preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years behavioral health leadership experience in acute care setting
• Demonstrated expertise in mental health nursing and crisis intervention
• Strong interpersonal and team leadership abilities
• BCLS certification (or obtain within 30 days)
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification (or obtain within 30 days)
